Invidious Studios (“we”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data our VR games access through the Meta Horizon Platform, how that data is used, and how users may contact us regarding their information.
1. Data We Access
Our VR games use the Meta Horizon Platform solely to retrieve limited information necessary for gameplay. Specifically, we access:
- Meta User ID – a platform-generated unique identifier
- Meta User Profile Information – including your Meta avatar, display name, and related profile appearance data
These items are accessed only so the game can display your Meta avatar as the player character.
Our games do not access or request any other personal information.
2. How We Use This Data
The data listed above is used exclusively for in-game functionality, specifically:
- To load and render your Meta avatar within our VR games
- To identify your in-game presence for the duration of the play session
We do not use this data for analytics, tracking, advertising, profiling, marketing, or any other purpose.
3. Data Retention
Our VR games do not store or retain any user data.
- All accessed data is held temporarily in device memory while the game is running.
- No user data is saved to disk, server, cloud service, or database.
- Once you close the game, all accessed information is immediately discarded.
Invidious Studios maintains no logs, backups, persistent files, or analytics that contain user data of any kind.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, transmit, lease, or otherwise transfer any user data to any third party.
All data remains on your Meta Quest device and never leaves it.
5. User Data Deletion Requests
Because Invidious Studios does not store any user data, there is no information for us to delete.
However, to comply with Meta’s Developer Data Use Policy, users may contact us at any time to request:
- Confirmation that we do not store their data, or
- Assistance understanding how their Meta account interacts with our VR games

Users may also remove all future data access by uninstalling any Invidious Studios VR game from their Meta Quest device.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our VR games are not directed toward children under 13 and should not be used by children without compliance with applicable child privacy regulations.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to comply with Meta requirements, platform changes, or legal obligations. Any updates will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
